Districts Educating and Learning Through the Arts (DELTA) returns to Radnor Middle School to sponsor an energetic performance by Philadelphia's own highly regarded Chosen Dance Company on Friday, March 9 at 7 p.m. The show is all about hop-hop! Come bring the entire family to see an outstanding and high energy performance. Tickets available at the door for $10 each. DELTA is a consortium of cultural arts representatives from the RTSD PTOs and other surrounding school districts and independent and parochial schools. Radnor Day Camp & Summer Tot Lot Open House: Tuesday, March 13 from 6-8 p.m. Held at the Radnor Township Building (301 Iven Avenue, Wayne), this event will be a great opportunity to learn about two popular camps, Radnor Day Camp & Summer Tot Lot. Find out what's planned, have questions answered, meet the staff, and, best of all, register! New for the summer of 2012: an extended day Radnor Day Camp and a Counselor in Training program. Spring Eggstravaganza: Join the Recreation & Community Programming Department on Sunday, April 1 at 1 p.m. for the 2nd annual Spring Eggstravaganza! This community event will feature egg hunts for ages 12 and under, crafts, food, inflatable bounce houses, a visit from the Easter Bunny & more! This is a FREE event for Radnor Township families. An egg hunt schedule will be available prior to the event. This event will take place at Clem Macrone Park, 810 Conestoga Road, Rosemont. Arbor Day Celebration: Come join Radnor Township, Radnor Conservancy, and Radnor Cub Scout Pack 19 and Pack 371 on Tuesday, April 24 at 6 p.m. in celebration of being named a 2012 Tree City USA! This is the 20th year Radnor has received this national recognition. An honorary tree planting ceremony will take place as part of the celebration. This event will take place at the Friends of Radnor Trail Park, 304 Liberty Lane, Wayne. For more information, call Radnor Recreation at 610-688-5600.

12th Annual Katie Samson Lacrosse Festival, Sat. April 28 at Radnor High School. Seven fields running simultaneously from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Twenty-six premier boys' teams and 28 premier girls' teams playing regular season, wheelchair rugby, tennis and basketball games. Two fan zones, including Katie's Kiddle Korner, rides, face painting, food, raffle prizes, clothing and equipment. Proceeds benefit improved quality of life and athletic programs for the disabled, as well as patient care and research.

Radnor Girls Youth Lacrosse is now registering 3rd through 8th graders for Spring 2012! Lacrosse is a fast and ever-growing sport that is competitive and fun! Come out and join the excitement.

Indians The King of Prussia Indians Football and Cheer Association is now accepting registrations for the Fall 2012 season. The Indians have been serving the boys and girls of the community for over 50 years and are members of the Pop Warner National Youth Football and Cheer Organization. We provide programs for boys and girls ages 5-13. No matter what level of experience your child may have, they will learn the games of football and cheer in a fun and controlled environment. Radnor Troop 284 has been an important presence on the Main Line for more than ninety years. We are dedicated to the ideals of Scouting and strive to 'graduate' young men of high moral character while emphasizing the goals of scouting: citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Winter 2012 Classes at Wayne Art CenterChildren’s art classes for Winter 2012 are underway. A full program of over 40 art classes in all art media are offered for children ages 2-teen, with classes available during the day, evening, and on Saturdays to fit a variety of schedules. Pottery Merit Badge Workshop for Boyscouts: WINTER 2012! Sun., Feb. 26 and Sun., March 4, 9 a.m.-12 p.m or 1-4 p.m. Boyscouts, join the Wayne Art Center’s talented ceramic instructors in the Pottery Studio for this exciting two-day workshop. All material necessary to complete the pottery merit badge will be covered, and certified merit badge councilor will be on hand to sign off on all requirements. Wadsworth, the Chair of the Local Task Force on the Right to Education - an organization created to represent the needs and interests of students with disabilities and their families - welcomes parents and all other interested parties to attend their meetings throughout the year. Vet The Delaware County Department of Veterans Affairs - which helps veterans and their families access and secure benefits to which they are eligible - will be conducting a series of seminars during the Fall with the purpose of providing an overview of veterans benefits for businesses, institutions, and associations so that they are familiar with veteran’s programs and can help “spread the word.” Click here for details on the seminars.
