Attention 7th grade parents - It is a tradition at Radnor Middle School for 7th grade parents to organize the 8th grade graduation reception. The reception takes place on June 13 in the RMS cafeteria and is open to all 8th graders and their families. We plan to serve wraps, pretzels, chips, grapes, desserts and drinks. We will also decorate the room with balloons. We need a few things from parents to make the event a success:

1. Monetary donations (we do have a budget but not enough to cover everything) Checks payable to “RMS PTO” in an envelope clearly marked for “Attn: 8th Grade Reception”.
2. Lots of finger desserts (no forks needed!) Examples: cookies, brownies, dessert bars, Chocolate pretzels, Rice Krispy treats. Food items can be dropped off at RMS on 6/13 anytime after 4:00 pm.
3. Volunteers to set-up from 4:30-6:30 on June 13
4. Volunteers to clean-up from 8-8:30 on June 13

Please contact the co-Chairs by email if you can provide an item listed above or you have any questions.Remember next year, this year’s 6th grade class will do it for us. Let’s pay it forward. Thanks in advance. Your co-Chairs: Mindy Halpern (mindbeth@aol.com ) and Jennifer Hahn(hahn.jennifer@verizon.net)

Thank you to all who completed the RMS PTO Survey! We greatly appreciate the time, energy and thought you put into your responses. We heard from over 175 parents/guardians and staff. The end of the year is fast appraoching, don't forget to register your child for your school's 2013-2014 Student Directory! All RTSD PTO’s and the RHS PTSA have joined forces to create one common online Student Directory Registration Website. The directories will still be printed and school specific, but now you can register online. Also, once you register your child, you will never have to register your child again. The information after this year will roll with your child until he/she graduates. You will be responsible for updating your record if your personal information changes or you need to withdraw a child from RTSD prior to graduation. Note: RHS families who registered online last year will have their information already in this system and can use their existing user name and password. You will need to add any additional family members to that record. Anyquestions, please contact your PTO/PTSA President. Click here to get started now.

Interested in advertising your business in the 2013-2014 RTSD Student Directories? Orders are now being accepted. We have streamlined our system to make placing an ad in any or all of the RTSD Student Directories even easier! Please click here for more information.
