What is Reading Olympics?Reading Olympics is a celebration of reading and a competition which provides an opportunity for students to read and discuss literature from many genres. Each team is comprised of 10-12 students and is responsible to read from a list of predetermined books. Our students will compete as a team against other fifth grade teams. Joining the team requires each member to commit to reading a minimum of eight books. On the night of this exciting competition, teams will be asked factual questions about the books.
This year's team, the Radnor Reading Raiders, will attend the competition in the month of April 2013!
The Reading Olympic Team is open to all 5th graders at Radnor Elementary School.
Please contact Mrs. Piechotta in the library, or Mrs. Goldberg if you would like to have any information about Reading Olympics... We look forward to hearing from you!
Congratulations to all of our reading olympics team members! Two blue ribbons and one red! I am so proud of you and the awesome job that you did! Keep up the reading!
